Retrospective

2011 turned out to be a great year. I created 35 new paintings and amongst them one of the biggest canvasses I ever made, ” Into the mystic”, 140 x 160 cm (see picture below).

Despite the economical “bad weather” I sold 25 paintings and found 4 new professional galleries to represent my work; Gallery Miya in Hellevoetsluis, Gallery Tolg”Art in Wierden, Gallery Sous Terre in Aalsmeer and last but not least, the beautiful Art Gallery Radeski in Luik/Belgium, which, by selling some of my works in the first exhibition, makes me a sort of international artist…

I was contacted by Gallery De Paardenstal in Espel, which  will put my work on show in the spring of 2013.

I had a nice online-interview on the art site Boa, silkscreens have been made of 4 of my paintings by Business Art Service , and right now I’m in the finishing stages of publishing a new art book.

It’s like a dream come true that I cherised since I started painting some 16 years ago…
